A man trying to sell cheap prosecco on a city estate ended up pitching his 'bubbly bargain' to two plain clothed police officers.
The CMK Neighbourhood Team members were patrolling Oldbrook earlier this week when they were approached, and when one ran checks on the man they discovered he was wanted on recall to prison.
In a social media post, police said: 'A uniformed crew swooped in faster than you can pop a cork and he was promptly arrested and taken to custody.
'His stay in Milton Keynes? Shorter than a sip of prosecco. He’s already on the bus back to prison!'
