Walk-in coronavirus vaccination sessions available in Milton Keynes every day this week

Walk-in coronavirus vaccination sessions are being offered to eligible residents every day this week.

Saxon Court Vaccination Centre, located in the city centre, will be offering drop-in sessions to people over 40-years-old up until Sunday 6th June.

This means that over 40s can either have their first or second dose of AstraZeneca - the second dose can only be given to those that have waited a minimum of eight weeks from their first.

Dr Sarah Whiteman, Chair of Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “We’ve given nearly 700,000 doses of vaccine across the area so far and we’re keen to make sure that no one gets left behind.

"We’re opening the doors at our large vaccine centres for walk-ins for a limited time, so you can just turn up and get your jab. If you haven’t got around to booking your vaccine appointment yet, this is the perfect opportunity to start to get protected.”

The opening hours for Saxon Court are as follows:

    Tuesday - 9am to 7pm

    Wednesday - 9am to 7pm

    Thursday - 9am to 7pm

    Friday - 9am to 3pm

    Saturday - 9am to 3pm

    Sunday - 9am to 3pm

Anyone who is 40 or over or eligible to be vaccinated for another reason should ideally bring their NHS number with them to their appointment.

Those people who already have a booked appointment at a vaccination centre, GP-led site or pharmacy should still attend their appointment as planned.
