Volunteers needed for Milton Keynes Pride Festival

    The organisers of Milton Keynes Pride Festival are on the hunt for volunteers as they prepare for their 'biggest event yet'.

    The much-anticipated FREE event, which sees crowds of around 10,000 attend, will be taking place at Campbell Park on September 10th.

    Music, comedy, food, drink, independent stalls, yoga, and many different workshops will be on offer, welcoming smiles, glitter, dogs, families and friends for an enjoyable day that embraces the wonderful and diverse LGBTQ+ community.

    This year, the team are in need of volunteers to help keep the day running perfectly.

    Volunteer roles include: 

    EVENT VOLUNTEER

    Can you help with the event setup and support members of public on the day?

    STEWARD VOLUNTEER 

    Can you help the MKPF team?

    GREEN VOLUNTEER 

    Can you help keep MKPF environmentally friendly?

    YOUTH VOLUNTEER

    Can you help with MKPF Pride Youth hub? 

    A spokesperson for Milton Keynes Pride Festival said: "Our MKPF volunteer team undertake vital and important work prior and during the festival in September. We are extremely low on volunteers numbers this year!

    "Volunteering with us is exciting and so rewarding! It’s a great way to make new friends!"
