Thames Valley Police is investigating two unexplained deaths following a house fire in Bletchley on Friday.
Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service called us to an address in St Patrick’s Way at around 12.10pm to assist with the fire.
Firefighters quickly brought the fire under control, but a 15-year-old girl and a 67-year-old woman, sadly died at the scene.
The victims’ next of kin have been informed and offered our support.
Although she has not been formally identified, we can confirm the girl who died was Ann Eyre, from Bletchley. We’d ask people to respect her family’s privacy at this incredibly difficult time.
Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the victims of this tragic fire.
