Two people arrested after woman is assaulted in Milton Keynes

    Two people have been arrested following an assault that happened in Greenleys on Saturday (21/8) at around 10pm.

    The victim, a woman in her twenties, was assaulted and damage was caused to a car. It is thought the offenders may have been carrying weapons.

    The victim received bruising to her arm and swelling to her forehead. The victim did not attend the hospital.

    A 45-year-old woman from Milton Keynes and a 44-year-old man from Milton Keynes have both been arrested in connection with the incident and released on police bail. 

    And now, police are appealing for witnesses to help with their investigation. 

    Investigating officer PC Sofia Matthews, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “We are appealing for information following this incident.

    “We believe that members of the public may have intervened following this incident and as such we believe may have information in connection with the case.

    “Anyone with information should call 101 or go online quoting reference 43210376123 or they can report 100% anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
