Two lanes are currently closed on the M1 Southbound near Milton Keynes due to a vehicle fire.
Highways England has said that two lanes between J15 Grange Park and J14 Milton Keynes have been affected.
Northants Fire are currently on the scene dealing with the blaze, and MKFM is not yet aware of the extent of the fire.
But this has caused approximately four miles worth of congestion, and Highways England has asked people to allow an extra 30 minutes on current journey times.
