TRAVEL: Delays on M1 southbound near Milton Keynes following collision between lorry and car

There are currently delays on the M1 Southbound near Newport Pagnell Services following an earlier collision.

(UPDATE 8:42am - Traffic is now running as normal)

Two lanes on the carriageway had previously been closed at around 5:45am as police were on the scene of a crash between a HGV and a vehicle.

As of 7:15am, the incident has been cleared but there is still congestion on the road.

There are delays between 15 to 25 minutes for vehicles passing the services area.

People are being advised to allow for extra time when passing through.
