TRAVEL: All lanes stopped on M1 Southbound in Milton Keynes due to crash

All lanes have stopped and there is stationary traffic due to accident on M1 Southbound between J15 A45 (Northampton) and J14 A509 (Milton Keynes).

AA Traffic says sensors show all lanes are being held around 13:00.

A car and a lorry are reportedly involved.

The collision has taken place on the M1 Southbound between J15 A45 (Northampton) and J14 A509 (Milton Keynes).

Congestion is backing all the way towards J16 (Daventry).

There are also major delays on the Northbound carriageway due to onlookers.

UPDATE 14:45: All lanes have re-opened on the M1 southbound. There's still around 90 minute delays back from J15a (Northampton Services)
