TONIGHT AT 7PM: MKFM talks life-saving early intervention knife crime work with the Safety Centre

    Sarah from the Safety Centre

Tune into MKFM at 7pm tonight to hear us speak to Sarah from the Safety Centre as part of our latest series of exclusive crime interviews.

Since MKFM's first Crime Week back in April, multiple new operations and schemes have been launched in a bid to tackle serious crime in the city.

MKFM Crime Week gives listeners and readers an opportunity to raise their concerns, ask questions, and receive updates from key figures within the city.

Now, this week, MKFM Crime Week is back and tonight at 7pm we speak to Sarah from the Safety Centre.

Sarah will be speaking all things Safety Centre and the intervention work that takes place with the charity.

The safety education charity offers in school knife crime sessions and also has a learning zone at its education centre, Hazard Alley, which creates a safe space to talk about knife crime.

Listeners will also be able to hear about volunteering, first aid training and more.

Sarah Surridge, the charity's Marketing and Campaigns Manager said: "We’re looking forward to speaking to the team at MKFM about our vital early intervention knife crime work. We’ll be sharing our latest news and findings with the MKFM listeners and talking about this current and growing issue in our communities.

"Thank you to MKFM for inviting us in to talk with them about this important subject, impacting lives across MK and beyond."

Listen tonight from 7pm on 95.0/102.1/106.3FM, DAB Digital Radio, online, on your mobile or smart speaker to hear the full interview. Full details of how to listen here.
