It seems everybody is itching to visit the man himself this year, as tickets for the popular Santa's Grotto at Frosts Garden Centre in Woburn Sands went in a flash.
Frosts Garden Centre had been teasing the return of the much-loved event on social media for a while and announced that tickets would go live at 7am today (9/9).
And, in just under two hours, all slots from 21st November to 24th December had sold out.
The Garden Centre was overwhelmed by the demand and has released some more tickets. "We can't believe that we have sold out so quickly," Frosts said. "In true Christmas spirit, we have spoken nicely to Father Christmas about releasing some additional weekday tickets. Please keep checking our website to grab yours."
Visits to the Grotto will be understandably different this year due to social distancing and to protect the safety of customers and staff. Frosts is planning on taking the temperature of everybody that enters the Grotto with there also being frequent sanitiser stations.
Other changes include staggered arrival times, a brand new family experience, personalised visits and a traditional teddy bear for each child. Babies under 12 months will receive a 'My First Christmas' stocking.
Those who wish to visit Santa's Grotto have to be quick as it seems the latest chunk of tickets are selling at a rapid rate and will likely be gone soon.
