The Parks Trust announce temporary closure of Milton Keynes skate park

    The local independent charity has recently announced the temporary closure of the Broughton skate park while maintenance work is being carried out.

    The Park Trust is a local independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. This includes the river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas alongside the main roads that represent 25% of the city. 

    In a statement released earlier today (13/07), a spokesperson for The Parks Trust said: "Please note, our skate park in Broughton will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday 14th July) whilst maintenance work takes place.”

    The skate park at Broughton is usually open between the hours of 10am – 7pm.

    It is hosts facilities for people of all abilities and can be used by mini scooters, BMX bikes, skate boards, roller skates and other wheeled sports equipment.

    This skate park is friendly and welcoming for all children. There is a shelter, benches and bins in the surrounding area.

    The Parks Trust remind local riders that they are not responsible for any damages or injuries sustained while using or visiting the park.
