The Anchor launches new coffee shop in Milton Keynes

The Anchor in Aspley Guise has been busy brewing up a new attraction - the launch of its new coffee shop, which opens its doors this Friday.

The coffee shop will serve a carefully curated range of affordable coffees, alongside a selection of locally made cakes and sweet treats.

Whether stopping by for a morning coffee, a mid-walk pause, or a relaxed catch-up, the space has been designed to feel warm, welcoming and unhurried.

The Anchor has partnered with Wooden Hill Coffee, an independent roastery based in Buckinghamshire, known for its commitment to quality, sustainability and ethical sourcing.  Wooden Hill works directly with growers around the world, roasting in small batches to bring out the individual character of each coffee, while ensuring farmers are paid fairly for their work.

The Anchor says the partnership reflects its ongoing focus on provenance, quality and supporting local producers.

"We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Wooden Hill Coffee, true masters of their craft. Their expertise allows us to serve exceptional coffee to our guests, in a space that’s warm, welcoming and comfortably cosy, a place to relax and enjoy the perfect cup,” said a spokesman for The Anchor.

The coffee shop will operate alongside the much-loved pub and dining offer, providing another reason for locals and visitors alike to drop in, stay a while, and enjoy good coffee in good company.

The shop will be seven days a week from 9am daily.
