Thames Valley Police have released the following statement regarding the protests that took place on Wednesday 29th December in Milton Keynes.
“Thames Valley Police is continuing to investigate a protest that took place in Milton Keynes on Wednesday (29/12).
”At around 2.37pm a group of protestors marched from Station Square to the testing centre and then on to MK Theatre.
“The investigation team have identified 38 witnesses and are in the process of engaging with them to obtain statements and their accounts both at the testing Centre and MK Theatre.
“Further to this, over four hours of footage has been obtained so far and is currently being reviewed.
“At this time we are investigating offences of theft, assault, criminal damage, public nuisance and violent disorder.
“No arrests have been made at this point in the investigation.”
Chief Inspector Graham Hadley, of Thames Valley Police, said: “We have a dedicated team who are conducting a thorough investigation into the protest on Wednesday.
“Officers are also continuing to provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the testing site.
“Our team have already spoken to many witnesses and I would like to thank the public who have reported information and footage to us already.
“We would continue to appeal to anyone who has information or footage about what happened, who has not reported this to us, to get in touch by calling 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43210583457.
“We have also released an image of a woman we would like to speak to in connection with a theft investigation in relation to the protest.
“Officers believe the woman in this image has information about what happened.
“If you are the woman or you think you know who she is, please contact the force as soon as possible.”
