Thames Valley Police celebrates National Apprenticeship Week

    National Apprenticeship Week 2022 takes place between 7th and 13th February.

    In 2021, Thames Valley Police (TVP) was awarded Highly Commended Macro Employer of the Year (South East Region) at the National Apprenticeship Awards.      

    When talking about this most recent award, Superintendent Emma Baillie, TVP’s Head of Workforce Planning and Learning & Professional Development, said: “This award recognises the quality of apprenticeship programmes we offer to those who join us, and we are committed to ensuring our police officers and staff have the skills to be the best they can be”.

    Thames Valley Police has apprentices aged between 18 to 65 in a variety of police officer and staff roles; apprenticeships offer people of all ages the opportunity to earn and learn simultaneously, appealing to career changers as well as college leavers.

    Thames Valley are currently recruiting for its Contact Management Apprenticeship, its Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship (PCDA) and its Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Apprenticeship programmes.
