Teenage girl left with serious head injuries following collision in Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Milton Keynes that has left a girl with serious head injuries.

    At around 5.30pm yesterday (11/7) a Vauxhall Corsa and an e-scooter were involved in a collision in Bletchley. 

    Police say the accident occurred on Duncombe Street at the junction of V7 Saxon Street.

    A teenage girl, who was on the scooter, sustained serious head injuries and was taken to hospital, where she remains. A teenage boy, who was also on the scooter, was also taken to hospital, where he also remains.

    The driver of the Corsa was not injured.

    Investigating officer PC Phil McGlue, based at Milton Keynes police station said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.

    “I’d also ask anyone who may have dash-cam footage from the local area around the time of the incident to review it in case it may have captured something that could assist the investigation.

    “You can also submit any dash-cam footage via our online portal.”
