Stadium MK, Marshall Arena, and Doubletree by Hilton ready to host weddings and corporate events of all sizes

Safety measures are in place for small and large gatherings using the latest government guidance.

Following the success of the first live sporting event being held at Marshall Arena earlier this month, the focus has now turned on providing public and business events again at Stadium MK and the Marshall Arena when they reopen.

With some venues at risk of not reopening, the facilities at MK1 are being geared up to be able to host weddings and corporate events - even at short notice.

Andy Gibb, from Stadium MK, said: “Our team has been working incredibly hard to ensure Stadium MK, the Marshall Arena and Doubletree by Hilton can offer events of all sizes in a safe space using the latest government advice.

“We are hearing that some venues may not reopen following an extremely difficult period for most businesses, and we are ready to step in at short notice to ensure events of all sizes can go ahead. We can cater for small gatherings in our many function rooms and large gatherings in the hotel ballroom and at the Marshall Arena. Our team is ready to host a large number of weddings and events already booked and cater to anyone that needs to move an event at short notice.”

Since the lifting of lockdown, the facilities at MK1, including the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel, have already hosted the much-anticipated Championship League Snooker. Milton Keynes’ 5000 capacity event space, The Marshall Arena, was the first venue to host a live sporting event since lockdown began and was hailed ‘the safest place on earth’ by players.

Stadium MK and the Marshall Arena have not yet reopened to the public but are prepared to cater for events when they can do so. Those who wish to book an event, whether it be at short notice or for later on in the year, can contact for further details.
