SOLD OUT: Greggs Milton Keynes sell out of Vegan Sausage Rolls on launch day

Local residents looking to taste the new Vegan Sausage Roll from Greggs today were disappointed after The Centre MK store sold out of the baked goods earlier.

Residents took to social media to report that they couldn't get hold of the new products due to their popularity.

One user commented on social media: "They have none in The Centre MK store until midday. I had the last few at the station store, but they said that they would put some more in."

A member of the MKFM team also attempted to purchase one of the new vegan sausage rolls from The Centre MK at around 3.30pm but they were unable to.

Another member of the public commented: "Milton Keynes Greggs selling out faster than they can cook them. I waited for mine and by the time it was cooked, there was a queue of us who took them and more people waited!"

Customers were reporting that there were plenty in stock at other Greggs across the city, including at the Milton Keynes Station and in Bletchley.

One customer said: "Had the last two this morning in Queensway, Bletchley. I think they were doing more."

The launch of the new products caused a storm on Twitter yesterday, with Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan even getting involved.
