Sky offering engineering apprenticeship in Milton Keynes

The opportunity to learn how to be a Home Service Engineer with Sky has become available in Milton Keynes.

The apprenticeship is expected to start in September this year and will last around 8 months, with 7 weeks of face to face and virtual learning to learn the skills needed for the job, and 6 months under the guidance of a mentor.

Once the apprenticeship is finished, the participants will gain a customer service qualification and a permanent role with Sky.

Sky also offers 27 days holiday plus 3 bank holidays, Sky Q, an iPad and a mobile phone, a Sky branded vehicle and other benefits as part of the role.

It's the ideal job for anyone without qualifications, as the main requirement is a driving licence with no more than 6 points, being approachable and adaptable and great at building relationships.

No CV is needed for the application process, instead, there is an assessment with a series of questions and for those who are a fit, a video interview.

Successful candidates then will have the opportunity to take part in a virtual assessment as part of the final stage and a criminal record check if they are offered the job.

The apprenticeship will also run in Luton and Oxford alongside Milton Keynes.

The closing date is 30th May 2021 so there is still time to apply.

Those wishing to apply can do so on Sky's careers website.
