Seven people in Milton Keynes are celebrating after winning £1,000 each yesterday thanks to their lucky postcode.
The neighbours won the money when a postcode in Simpson, MK6 3AL, was announced as Monday's daily prize winner.
People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson sent his well-wishes to the winners. He said: "A big congratulations to our winners in Milton Keynes today! What a great way to start the week. I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special."
It seems Milton Keynes is the place to be for the People’s Postcode Lottery as over 15 postcodes have won since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
And back in September, two Milton Keynes postcodes were announced as the winners in just one week.
A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
