The M1 northbound entry slip road at junction 14 has temporarily closed following a vehicle breaking down.
At around 10am earlier this morning (08/08), an unknown vehicle broke down on entry to the slip road.
Sections of the road are currently in the process of being closed due to space being needed to recover the vehicle.
Traffic officers from Highways England are attending the scene to assist with the reopening process. It is expected that the slip road should only be closed for a brief period.
Traffic in the local area is reported to be coping well and no significant delays have been reported as of yet.
10:55 UPDATE: The slip road has now reopened and the broken down vehicle has been recovered to a safe location.
