Safer Streets police operation in Milton Keynes brings results

Police officers from the City Centre Neighbourhood Team worked with the Retail Crime Unit to conduct high-visibility and plain clothes patrols in CMK yesterday evening.

Four persons were stopped and searched during their Safer Streets operation – and were all found in possession of drugs or prohibited items.

Security partners also spotted a man acting suspiciously, and he was subsequently arrested for possession of an offensive weapon and a number of shoplifting offences. He remains in custody.

A driver was also stopped for driving with no insurance.
