RSPCA to re-open some charity shops in Milton Keynes - but there are new rules on donations

The RSPCA have announced they will be re-opening some of their charity shops in Milton Keynes this week.

The stores in Bletchley and Stony Stratford will be re-opening this Friday, following the coronavirus lockdown.

However, the charity have said that the Newport Pagnell store will not be opening in the foreseeable future.

And there are new rules on how you can give donations as well.

The stores will not be accepting donations during store opening hours.

Instead, shop opening hours have been amended to cope with the intake of donations.

The shops will be closed one day per week (see poster attached for your local store hours) when they will be accepting donations between 10am and 1pm.

Please ensure you call the store before arriving.

The Newport Pagnell shop will be closed for the foreseeable future, but we will have volunteers in the store on Fridays between 4pm and 6pm who will be happy to receive donations of goods and food for the animals.

The staff and volunteers have been working hard to make changes in the stores to comply with the government guidance for the safety of staff and shoppers.

Customers are asked to read the store notices and use the hand sanitiser stations provided.

You should also remain respectful to our staff, volunteers and customers in the stores at all times and adhere to the social distancing rule.

Stay smart, stay two meters apart. If you need to pass someone in an aisle, then please do so back to back.
