Milton Keynes businessman and keen sailor, Paul North, has launched the second year of the Milton Keynes RS Vareo, Grand Prix sailing competition, on Caldecotte Lake, June 9th and 10th, 2018.
The inaugural event took place last year during the City’s 50th Anniversary celebrations, showcasing Milton Keynes Sailing Club (MKSC) and the beautiful lakes and parks that create a major leisure attraction for the region.
The 2017 event was a resounding success and Illuminis remains the main sponsor of the event. Paul is now in his sixth year of competitive RS Vareo sailing and is delighted that MK can offer such splendid sailing conditions for the competition and a legacy has been created.
Paul said; "Caldecotte Lake is one of the landmark lakes in MK, part of a unique water management system for the town, creating perfect conditions for RS Vareo sailing dinghies."
