Roads reopen following 'fear for welfare' incident in Central Milton Keynes

    Roads have reopened in Milton Keynes following a fear for welfare incident.

    A fear for welfare incident which saw roads in Central Milton Keynes close has been 'safely resolved'.

    Midsummer Bld, V6 Grafton St, Avebury Bld and Witan Gate were closed last night while emergency services dealt with the incident.

    This morning, police have issued the following statement: 

    "A fear for welfare in central Milton Keynes was safely resolved in the early hours of this morning"

    "Road closures that were in place have been lifted.

    "We would like to thank the public for their support and to South Central Ambulance Service and Bucks Fire and Rescue services for the assistance."
