Road closures to take place while traffic lights are installed at Milton Keynes junction

There will be a road closure in place at the junction of H4 Dansteed Way with Randall Avenue while traffic lights are installed - a project that will take around two months to complete.

Milton Keynes Council has said that work will soon begin to create a new, signalised junction by Whitehouse Park.

This area, which is at the junction of H4 Dansteed Way with Randall Avenue, currently has a temporary roundabout.

During the works, H4 Dansteed Way will be closed between Crownhill and Randall Avenue roundabouts.

The Crematorium will be able to be accessed from Crownhill roundabout.

MK Council has said: "This junction was always intended to become a signalised controlled junction (meaning one with traffic lights) as set out in the original transport assessment for Whitehouse planning approval."

Road works are set to begin 23 August 2021 and currently expected to be complete by 29 October 2021.

In addition, a new pedestrian crossing will be created.

Bus stops will also be relocated from their current positions.
