Road closures in place across Milton Keynes due to severe flooding

Several roads across Milton Keynes are still closed due to unsafe water levels with drivers told not to attempt to drive through, and use alternative routes.

Below are the current closures, and where you need to avoid travelling to today.

    • A509 – Warrington Roundabout (A509 s'bound)
    • A422 – Eastbound at Chicheley Hill (Astwood)
    • Road between the B526 Stoke Goldington and Weston Underwood (Junction with Ravenstone Mill Rd).
    • Stratford Rd, Wolverton between Queen Eleanor Street/V5 Gt Monks St

To report any local flood issues, please use the Report It section on our website or call 01908 252353.
Do not attempt to drive through any road closure. Roads are closed for safety and there may be hazards in the water.
Drive to the conditions and do not drive quickly through flood water especially near homes as this creates waves.

Our local MP, Chris Curtis says, "I’m concerned to see flooding across Milton Keynes North constituency today after several weeks worth of rain in a short period". I am in close contact with Milton Keynes City Council, who are monitoring the situation, and I would encourage anyone having issues to report it to seek advice and support. You can also see details of road closures as a result of the rain."
