Residents in Stacey Bushes are up in arms about a large static caravan that has been left blocking a path, and protruding onto the road.
The structure - labelled a ‘monstrosity’ by one local, has been left on White Alder for more than five weeks.
Writing on a community FB page, a resident said: “It’s a hazard to pedestrians, why should they have to walk in the road? It’s blocking half the road making the passage of emergency vehicles and refuse lorry’s awkward to say the least. It’s an eyesore to boot.
“I don’t hate the misguided resident who thought he could just buy it and plonk it in his garden but to him I say, ’get it moved!’
MKFM contacted Milton Keynes City Council, who told us: "We are aware of the static caravan currently on the footway in Stacey Bushes and have informed the owner that this needs to be removed off the highway as quickly as possible.
"Under the Highways Act, it is an offence to deliberately block the highway and we have served notice for the item to be removed and are working closely with the police to make this happen," the spokesperson added.
