RSPCA WEEK (DAY 1) Cats in Milton Keynes in urgent need of new homes

Each day of this week, MKFM will be sharing information about some of the local cats that are in need of a new home.

Currently, the RSPCA have many cats in their care which are in need of a new home. Due to the high amount of cats currently waiting to be re-homed, the charity is unable to take in many more.

All adult cats currently with the RSPCA are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and treated for fleas and worms. You can opt in for four weeks free insurance from Petplan or the RSPCA. The RSPCA requests a minimum donation of £100 for each cat to help cover the charity's costs.

If you would like to adopt please complete the online adoption form. You can also contact them by telephone 01908 611179 or email at cathome@mkrspca.org.uk

MKFM RSPCA WEEK CATS OF THE DAY:

     DORA

'Dora is still waiting for someone to come along and choose her. She's such a sweet girl and has come into us because she just didn't like the dog in the house. She's really come out of her shell now and just needs a home where she's the only pet and without young children. She will want outside access so needs a home well away from any busy roads.'

    TEDDY

'Teddy is only 18 months old. Unfortunately he suffered from cystitis which led to a blocked bladder. This is now resolved and he's doing really well but it may recur so we are looking for a quiet home where he can be monitored but be in a home environment and part of a family which he desperately wants. He'd be a supported adoption so we'd cover any issues regarding his bladder - we therefore need a home in the MK area.'
