Max Verstappen claimed his third pole position of the season as both Red Bull drivers reached Q3 ahead of tomorrow's Miami Grand Prix.

After the disappointment of the 10-second penalty in the Sprint, Verstappen began qualifying with clear determination, progressing into Q2 after setting the fastest time in Q1.

Fresh off the back of being promoted three places to P6 in the Sprint Race, meanwhile, Tsunoda managed to get two push laps in to avoid the disappointment of yesterday's SQ1 knockout.

Tsunoda's third timed lap in Q1 was good enough for P9, seeing him safely through to Q2.

Both drivers put in strong enough lap times in Q2 to make it through to the final phase of qualifying for a third consecutive Grand Prix qualifying session in a row.

In Q3, both Red Bulls set times early, with Verstappen topping the times and Tsunoda sitting P9, ahead of Ferrari's Charles Leclerc after his run off track saw his time deleted.

The Dutchman managed to improve his time by two tenths, giving himself enough of a buffer to claim pole position ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris, with Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli finishing P3 and Norris' teammate Oscar Piastri crossing the line P4.

Tsunoda, meanwhile, couldn't improve his time enough to hold off the driver's around him, starting tomorrow's race P10 and with plenty to do in order to claim more points from the weekend.
