Rebecca Hawkins strikes white gold on Black Friday

A 20-year-old from Milton Keynes has won a brand new White Suzuki Celerio City Car worth nearly £7,000 after entering an MKFM and Progress Suzuki competition.

Rebecca was one of 10 people who attempted to unlock the safe with their golden key at intu Milton Keynes on Black Friday, one of the busiest shopping days of the year in the run up to Christmas. However, it was hers that opened the deposit box to reveal the car key of the popular 1.0-litre model, which offers a combined fuel economy of nearly 66 mpg, and emissions of just 99g/km CO2, therefore qualifying for zero road tax.

Winner, Rebecca Hawkins, who is now a proud first-time car owner, said: “Black Friday is a day of bargains, and I certainly got one by coming away from the shopping centre with a free car. I only passed my test three weeks ago, and therefore this couldn’t have come at a better time. I look forward to enjoying this early Christmas present, and it’s a truly amazing end to the year.”

Matt Crathorn, Brand Manager of Progress Suzuki, added: “We would like to congratulate Rebecca on winning this special prize, and the competition has certainly generated a real buzz around the town during the past few weeks. We are absolutely thrilled for her, and wish Rebecca many years of happy motoring. Welcome to the Suzuki family!”

Darren Dorrington, Managing Director of MKFM, explained: “With Suzuki being based in Milton Keynes, this has been a fantastic competition. We feel privileged to be working with Progress Suzuki, and we would like to thank everyone who has participated since September to win the car.”

Progress Suzuki is located at 14 London Rd, Old Stratford, Milton Keynes MK19 6AA. For further information on the Suzuki product range, or to book a test drive, call 01908 260060 or visit www.suzuki.co.uk/cars/dealers/progressmk.
