Thames Valley Police is renewing an appeal for information on the three week anniversary since a woman went missing from Milton Keynes.
Today (8/3) Thames Valley Police are releasing images of clothes and items that are similar to the ones that Leah Croucher, aged 19, was wearing and using on the day she was reported missing.
Leah was seen on Buzzacott Lane in Furzton, just after 8.15am on Friday 15 February and she was walking in the direction of Loxbeare Drive and Chaffron Way.
Leah was reported missing by her family, who last saw her in Quantock Crescent, Emerson Valley, in Milton Keynes, at around 10pm on Thursday 14th February. She was reported missing to the police the following day (15/2).
Leah is white, slim, with below shoulder length brown hair and sometimes wears glasses.
She was last seen dressed in a black coat, skinny black jeans, black Converse high top shoes and carrying a small black rucksack.
This week we have continued searches in Furzton, Shenley Lodge, Shenley Woods, Knowlhill and Bradville. Specialist search officers along with the National Police Air Service (NPAS) and mounted officers have been involved in this search activity.
The investigation has continued to identify and speak to a large number of Leah’s friends, associates and work colleagues and as well as reviewing large quantities of CCTV footage that has been obtained.
TVP have received well over 100 calls and reports from members of the public that continue to be assessed and investigated by a dedicated team of approximately 50 officers and staff.
Chief Inspector Neil Kentish says, “Three weeks on we are continuing our search activity and enquiries to locate Leah Croucher.
“Today we are releasing images of clothes that are similar to the ones that Leah was wearing.
“We are releasing them in the hope that they will jog someone’s memory of seeing Leah and assist us in our enquiries. The hoody that Leah was wearing at the time is particularly distinctive and is one of only a very small number in existence.
“Leah was last seen in Buzzacott Lane in Furzton, where she was captured on CCTV at about 8.15am on Friday 15th February.
“Leah’s usual route to work would be via Buzzacott Lane and then onto Faraday Drive using the redways to travel north towards Kelvin Drive in Knowlhill. We know that this is the route that Leah took on both Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th February, however extensive CCTV work has shown that she did not arrive in Faraday Drive on the morning she went missing.
“As such we are asking anyone who may have seen a woman wearing clothes similar to the ones we have released on Friday 15th of February to please come forward with information.
“Additionally we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or found items or clothing similar to these since the 15th.
“Again I would like to thank the public for all their help and assistance with this investigation so far, we have already received numerous calls but I would encourage anyone with new information who we have not previously spoken to, to please come forward.
