Quirky floating market offering unique crafts will be held in Milton Keynes

A quirky floating market will be taking to the water in Milton Keynes next weekend.

The Cosgrove Floating Market, located on the Grand Union Canal below Cosgrove Lock, will be showcasing trading boats with unique crafts and interesting gifts.

Held on the 19th and 20th June, the event has been organised by the Roving Canal Traders Association (RCTA), which is responsible for arranging floating markets across the canal network.

The RCTA held its first-ever floating market in Birmingham in 2013 and they have since become a popular feature of the not-for-profit organisation's work.

Next weekend's market will be socially distanced, and so far nearly 200 people have either registered their interest or indicated that they will be attending.
