A man wanted from Birmingham has links to Milton Keynes.

West Midlands police are appealing for information to find Waqas Banaras who is wanted on suspicion of a serious wounding after a woman was attacked with a stick.

Banaras from Ballsall Heath, Birmingham, is also wanted on suspicion of coercive control and threats to kill.

Thames Valley Police have asked people in Milton Keynes to help share the appeal.

West Midlands Police said: "The 26-year-old also has links to Solihull, Hall Green, Acocks Green, Lozells, Leeds and Milton Keynes.

"If you see him, please do not approach him, but call us on 999 instead.

"If you have any other information that could help us find him, please contact us quoting 20/196055/22."
