Public toilets in Newport Pagnell to re-open following coronavirus lockdown

Newport Pagnell Town Council have announced that the public toilets in the town will be re-opening following the coronavirus lockdown.

The facilities on the High Street will re-open from tomorrow (18th June).

Officials have said that the opening will take place after a full deep clean and erection of signage.

It follows concerns nationally that people are being caught short as facilities remained closed despite other lockdown restrictions being eased.

Problems with human waste have been reported elsewhere in the UK near beaches and other landmark areas where public toilets have been locked.

Newport Pagnell High Street is currently closed to all traffic as part of measures to allow social distancing in the town.
