Power cut occurs in Milton Keynes

    Hundreds of people throughout Milton Keynes are left without power this morning (20/02) as Western Power Distributors (WPD) report a power outage.

    Just after 9am, Western Power Distributors were made aware of a power cut, affecting hundreds of Milton Keynes homes after a high voltage incident occurred.

    Western Power Distributors tweeted earlier this morning: "There is currently a powercut in Milton Keynes. We are working on the issue and we estimate to have the power restored by 11:00."

    "Apologies for any inconvenience."

    UPDATE: As of 10:03am, Wester Power Distributors report that power has been restored to the area. They said: All supplies to Milton Keynes have now been restored. Apologies to all customers affected by the powercut."
