Thames Valley Police has taken to social media after concerned residents spot an increase in officers in Fishermead.
Police are out in Fishermead today following an incident that took place last night (20/6).
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police explained: "You may see more officers in the Fishermead area today following an incident of assault with injury last night.
"Thanks to those who called in about this offence. A 35 year old woman has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. She has since been bailed.
"If you have any concerns, please speak to the officers while they are out and about, or call 101 quoting reference 43220270523."
