Police issue witness appeal after fatal road traffic collision close to Milton Keynes

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred in Buckinghamshire.

    The incident took place on Friday (28/8) at about 4.20pm on the A422 between Maids Moreton and College Farm. 

    A blue Ford Fiesta was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Toureg and a white Volkswagen Golf.

    Sadly, the driver of the Fiesta, a woman aged in her eighties, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.

    The driver and passenger in the Golf, a man and woman aged in their sixties, sustained serious injuries. They were taken to hospital for treatment, where they remain at this time.

    Investigating officer, PC Ray Macnaught, of the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, based at Milton Keynes, said: “This is a collision in which a woman in her eighties has sadly died and two other people sustained serious injuries. Our thoughts are with all those affected and their families at this difficult time."

    “We are carrying out an investigation and we are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this collision or may have dash cam footage of the incident to please get in touch."
