Police investigating Nazi email to councillors in Milton Keynes

Police are investigating racist emails sent to councillors in Milton Keynes that sign off their hate-fuelled rants with “Heil Hitler”.

The so-called Keep Britain Pure League says it wants to deport citizens of the UK because of the colour of their skin or their religious beliefs.

A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has confirmed that it “received a report about malicious communications in the Milton Keynes area on March 1.

“Officers are carrying out an investigation into the incident and are working to identify those responsible. No arrests have yet been made.”

A senior Milton Keynes borough councillor confirmed that he had received more than one email from the group.

“Because of the language used, and the fact that they know my address,” said the councillor. “I do not want my name used in connection with the story.”

But he added: “The emails have been reported to the police by a number of councillors because of the sick language they use.”

The email rant complains that people who aren’t “true citizens” of Britain “pollute our culture, clog up our hospitals and surgeries.”

The email invites councillors to visit an address in Conniburrow at any time to find out more, and is signed by the “leader” and the “director of communications”.

It signs off: “Let’s take advantage of Brexit and disinfect our country.

“If you have any questions, please contact me on my personal email address

    “Heil Hitler.”

One of the emails seen by the Local Democracy Reporting Service and dated April 9 contained two different email addresses.

One has not replied to a reporter’s request for information, but the other said the email was “madness, it’s complete nonsense”.

The message went on to say that the KBPL is a “hoax”.
