Police increase patrols in three Milton Keynes estates and make multiple drug-related arrests

Thames Valley Police increased patrols in three housing estates following concerns raised by residents and have now made multiple arrests.

Officers have been patrolling areas in Fullers Slade, Wolverton, and Greenleys recently.

And in the past three days, 13 stop and searches have been completed, alongside a number of arrests.

A 16-year old male has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs. Items recovered during the arrest included cash, phones, and controlled drugs.

Also, a 50-year-old male and a 49-year-old female have been arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A controlled drugs and suspicion of possession of a bladed article.

This was following a stop and search carried out by officers. Items recovered during the search included a lock knife, suspected Class A drugs, cash, and phones.

An investigation into all three people is ongoing.

A spokesperson for the force said: "Information we receive from the community is essential in helping us fight crime.

"Together we can take criminals off the street and keep Milton Keynes safe."

Residents can report a crime to the police on 101, online, or call 999 in an emergency.
