Police evict Milton Keynes drug use tenant

Officers arrest man in council flat raid.

Milton Keynes’ City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team and council officials yesterday evicted a man from a flat and then arrested him, following persistent reports of anti-social behaviour and suspected drug use.

The flat, on the city’s North 10th Street, was targeted following information gathered by MK police officers. And when the council arrived to evict the tenant, he was found to be a suspect for assault, threats to kill and possession of a knife in a public place.

The suspect is now in custody where investigations are ongoing.

“This eviction marks a big win for the local community,” said a police spokesperson. “Residents can now enjoy their homes in peace, without the constant disruption and danger caused by this address.”
