Police continue to appeal for witnesses to fatal collision in Milton Keynes

    Police in Milton Keynes are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the fatal, fail-to-stop traffic collision which happened on Great Monks Street on October 15.

    At around 7.50pm, a white Audi was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on Great Monks Street. Sadly, the pedestrian, a man in his eighties, died at the scene.

    Police are particularly keen to identify and speak with the driver of a black hatchback-style vehicle that was seen on dashcam footage travelling on Great Monks Street prior to the collision.

    A white box van was seen travelling on the road around the time of the incident and police would also like to speak to that driver as they believe they may have vital information to assist their investigation.

    A 22-year-old woman and 25-year-old man, both from Milton Keynes have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, causing death by dangerous driving and perverting the course of justice.

    Two men aged 52 and 48, also from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and causing death by dangerous driving.

    Two further men, aged 18 and 27, from Milton Keynes, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

    All have been released on police bail.
