Police confirm they are investigating reports of injection incident at Milton Keynes nightclub

    The alleged incident took place in the early hours of Sunday 24th October at Pink Punters nightclub in Bletchley, Milton Keynes.

    This reported incident comes amid an increasing number of reports of spiking across the country.

    A number of police forces are investigating multiple reports of this new way of drugging women and say "it's distinctly different to anything they've seen before".

    A post has been circulating on social media stating an incident that took place in Milton Keynes over the weekend, police have confirmed to MKFM that this is being investigated.

    A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police has said: "Thames Valley Police can confirm that it is investigating reports of an assault whereby a woman has reported being assaulted with a needle at the Pink Punters nightclub in Milton Keynes.

    "It was reported just before 3am on Sunday (24/10)."

    They say anyone with any information regarding this incident should call 101, quoting reference 43210479498.

    Thames Valley Police say "We are working closely with venues to make sure they are aware of the measures they can take to ensure the safety of those who attend their pubs and clubs.

    "We are also asking them to be vigilant and report any instances to us so we can investigate and take any action against offenders."

    MKFM is waiting for a statement from Pink Punters.

    Pink Punters is the fastest growing LGBTQ venue in the UK, with over 500 CCTV cameras, it is a safe place for many in and around Milton Keynes and this is an isolated incident.
