The South Neighbourhood Policing Team #SouthNHPT conducted reassurance patrols in Milton Keynes this week.

On Wednesday evening, the 4th November, one of the Thames Valley Police PCSO teams worked across parts of Milton Keynes as a precautionary measure following a recent increase in terrorism activity around Europe.

The UK raised its terrorism threat level from “substantial” to “severe” following attacks in Austria and France, which officials say have “raised the tempo” of terror activity. And by definition, this level means that an attack in the UK is "highly likely".

Everyone is asked to remain vigilant and anyone with information is urged to contact the police by calling 0800 789 321 or by visiting the Counter Terrorism website http://orlo.uk/rQ68U #P1755 to report, in confidence, any concerns.

    Call 999 in an emergency.
