Police conclude Milton Keynes murder investigation as they are 'satisfied' there was no third party involvement

    Thames Valley Police can today (25/6) confirm that a murder investigation that was launched in Milton Keynes on 29 February has now been concluded.

    Officers from Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit commenced an investigation after Pawel Skubek, aged 49, was located with a stab wound to his neck at an address in Clay Hill, Two Mile Ash.

    Sadly, Mr Skubek died at the scene of his injuries.

    Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Andy Shearwood, of the Major Crime Unit, said: “Following this tragic incident, an investigation was launched into the circumstances of Mr Skubek’s death.

    “We are now satisfied that there was no third party involvement and a file will now be passed to the Buckinghamshire coroner.

    “A 24-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman who were arrested in connection with this investigation have now been released with no further action to be taken.

    “The thoughts of all of us at Thames Valley Police remain with Mr Skubek’s family and friends, and we would ask on their behalf, that their privacy continues to be respected.”
