Milton Keynes Police have reminded residents they can report concerns about properties in their community after they secured a partial closure order against a block of 24 flats on Milburn Avenue, Oldbrook.
The order, which will last for three months, was granted by Milton Keynes Magistrates Court after several people were charged with offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, following a police investigation.
The closure, supported by Milton Keynes City Council, is an example of how the police, community and council have worked in partnership to achieve a positive result.
“It means that only certain people who are listed on the order are able to enter the address,” said a police spokesperson. “Anyone who is found inside the address that isn't listed on the order will find themselves being arrested for breaching the order.
“Do you have concerns about an address in your community? Report it to us via 101 or the Thames Valley Police Website.”
