Police appealing for witnesses following robbery in shopping centre

    The robbery took place last Monday at about 5:30.

    At around 5.25pm on Monday (1/10) three teenage boys were sat on benches inside the shopping centre near Poundland. A man and a boy approached the group and ask one of the group to speak with them outside. The victim and a friend agreed and the four of them walked out of the centre through door 9.

    Once outside, the suspects threatened and demanded money from the victim and he handed over cash. One of the suspects then searched the victim’s bag and took more cash from it.

    The suspects then walked the victim towards Lloyds Court where they demanded more items. One of the suspects produced a knife and held it to the victim’s neck. The victim handed over his mobile phone and belt.

    The offenders then walked away towards Conniburrow.

    The first offender is described as a black man, around 18-years-old with a medium length black afro. He is about 6ft 1in tall and of a stocky build. He was wearing black clothing.

    The second offender is described as a black teenage boy who is approximately 15-years-old. He is around 5ft 4ins-5ft 6 ins tall and of a skinny build. He also has a black afro which is slightly longer than the first offender’s and with a brown tint. He was also wearing black clothing.

    Investigating officer Detective Constable Kathryn Neilson, based at Milton Keynes police station, said: “I am looking to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who recognises the descriptions of the two offenders.

    “This happened during the day in a busy area so I believe someone may have seen something that can assist with the investigation. If you were in the area at the time, please check your dashcam footage to see if you have captured any of the offence.
