Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery at a local play park.
It happened at around 9.30pm on Saturday (17/4), when the victim, a man in his twenties, was walking by Woodstock Court Playground in Bradville when he was approached by two men.
The men asked if the victim had a cigarette, and when he responded to tell them he didn’t, they demanded that he hand over his mobile phone. One of the offenders then swung his arm at the victim which struck his cheek. As the victim ran away, the other offender also punched him.
The victim managed to get away on foot and nothing was stolen. He sustained a cut to his upper cheek but did not require any hospital treatment.
Both offenders are described as white men in their late twenties.
One was around about 6ft 2in tall, with a slim build. He had light ginger hair that was long but not quite shoulder length. He was wearing a black face covering and a black shiny puffer jacket.
The other offender was around 5ft 11in tall with a slim build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black hooded top with the hood up.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sebastian Kuzoe, based at Milton Keynes police station said: “I am appealing for any witnesses of this incident, or anyone who saw the men matching this description in the area at the time, to please get in touch.
