Witnesses and dashcam footage sought after Redway theft.
Thames Valley Police have issued a fresh appeal for information following a recent knife attack in Milton Keynes.
The victim of the attack could not provide descriptions of his assailants, as it was dark, and the incident happened very quickly.
But TVP’s Priority Crime Team are appealing for witnesses following the report. The incident happened on Tuesday 29th April at around 9.30pm near Horton Gate bus stop, Brickhill Street (V10), Giffard Park.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was walking home along the Redway when he was approached by two men on bicycles. The men asked the victim for the time, and as he looked down at his watch, he noticed one of them was holding a large knife towards his chest.
The attacker demanded that the victim pass over everything he had. The second man was also in possession of a knife, pointing it at the victim's watch and pockets.
The victim immediately handed over his watch, mobile phone and wireless earphones. The suspects then fled on their bicycles, heading in the direction of Newport Pagnell.
The victim did not receive any physical injuries. He has described the bicycles as black, possibly electric, with very chunky tyres.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have been travelling along this section of Redway around that time to come forward with any information,” said a police spokesperson.
“Also, if you were driving along the V10 Brickhill Street, and have a dashcam that may have picked up the incident, or the suspects arriving to or leaving the area, we would be interested in hearing from you.
