Police appeal after three burglaries in Bletchley in a single day on Tuesday

    Police are appealing to the public for information after three burglaries took place in the Bletchley area in just an eight-hour period on Tuesday.

    The first was on Tiree Court, Newton Leys between 10am and 6pm on Tuesday. Entry was gained via a side gate and a rear patio window was smashed. Jewellery, cash and bank cards were stolen. 

    The second was on Sunset Close, Bletchley between 5:30pm and 6:40pm on Tuesday. Entry was gained by forcing the front door with a tool. Nothing is believed to have be stolen at the time of writing. 

    There was then a third on Shelley Drive, Bletchley at around 6:55pm on Tuesday. Entry was gained by forcing a front door, the occupant was at home when they heard a noise from another room and found 2 persons inside their address. The victim’s wallet was stolen.

    In addition to the three incidents in the single day, Police are also reporting a number of other burglaries in the Bletchley area.

    One of these was on Hunter Drive between Sunday 24th December and Wednesday 3rd January whilst the occupants were away. Entry was gained via a smashed rear window, a messy search was carried out and it is not believed anything was stolen.

    Finally, another burglary took place over the Christmas period on Craigmore Avenue. Tool marks were again found on the front door and this is how entry was gained. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.
