Pharmacy licence granted for The Lakes in Milton Keynes

The regeneration of The Lakes has now taken a step forward, after a licence was granted for a pharmacy to be built there.

MK based pharmacy Jardines have been asked to come on board with the project.

Jardines have submitted an application to the NHS and is awaiting approval.

However, Boots Pharmacy may choose to appeal the NHS's decision.

This comes after Lloyds Pharmacy closed their store at Serpentine Court, leaving the space open for a new pharmacy in the area.

The £128m investment in Serpentine Court and the Lakes Estate will include 593 new homes, an enhanced Warren Park and improved bus network and parking.
